I went with ARP's - part # 200-7202, which are 1.900". They were about $78.00 from Summit.

Just to put the last nail in this coffen;

I bought SCORPION 1.7 RRs for a 7/16" stud. Very nice looking pieces and come attractively packaged (as if that means anything - LOL).

Since all of my parts are now "In" or on their way, "In the mail", I'll be able to finish up my 388 build next week. ATI damper, new pushrods and T/C cover just arrived.

Just an update:

The 388 is built and bolted to an engine stand.

Pulled the stock LT1 today and it, too, is bolted to an engine stand.

Tomorrow will be devoted to cleaning the grummy engine bay and, if all goes well, the install will begin Wednesday.

All parts are finally "In". I only wish I had bought RED Taylor wires a couple of months ago instead of the BLUE ones. Since I painted the intake RED -ala LT4 - BLUE wires just don't cut it. LOL
