Oil on the #2 spark plug

My '92 started missing Sunday evening. Had been fine and then it was not. Had it at the shop today and the guy said the #2 spark plug had oil on it. He

He.....what? Your post ends suddenly. It could be your valve seals depending on your mileage. If your car runs good after a plug change and then starts to show symtoms then that could be it. If there is no change after a plug change then it could be that spark plug wire is bad, or the distributor cap is bad. How many miles do you have on the car? It may just be time for a spark plug change. They do need to be changed. If none of these "checks" work then maybe you have a "dead hole". That being, you don't make compresion on that cylinder. That means a bad valve or cylinder. Hope it's the easy fix.
