85 Head Light upgrades

85 Head Light upgrades
Is there a head light up grade for the 85 head lights.
I have heard of many people having problems, like the window regulator is there a way to upgrade to a more secure head light assmbly that will not break ??
The reason I ask this is because my head lights go FAST. They seem to work good. Im hoping its one less thing to have to worry about.
If there is an upgrade how can I tell if mine are stock, about to go, or upgraded .. also any maintainence ?

I kept breaking the plastic gear sets, so I upgraded to Mid-America's cast bronze gears. Heavy as hell, but they have yet to break
...and yes the headlights come up slower, probably not good but oh well.
