Heater Problems!
I recently purchased a 1986 and the I notoced that the heat/ac control did not seem to work. The blower motor would turn on, but run slow like it was on it's way out, but the heat would not adjust from cool to hot. The previous owner removed the a/c system due to a broken a/c bracket or something. He gave me all the a/c parts in a box and said everything worked before he removed it... For the price I paid for the car I did not mind and expect to have to buy now compressor, clutch, ect. Anyways, the blower motor quit new and hot air comes from in from the vent by your feet, forced by wind speed. What I mean by that is when you are at a stop it is hot but air is not forced through the vent. When doing 75 on the highway it is like you have the motor on high. The defrost light comes on so power is going to the the control part I think? What do I look for? Where do I start? Thanks, MIKE

There is manual and electronic climate control. Not sure which one you have, so I'll give you help for both.
