Default Dyno Tuning???

I was thinking about getting my '93 tuned at a local dyno shop, but I was wondering if it would make any difference. One of my friends says that when they tune it they add updates to the computer to help it run better. So do you think it is worth the money???? I have no mods on it at all straight stock, just replaced the distributor in it. Let me what you all think, thanks.

If your car is completely stock, a custom dyno tune may be fun to watch, but it's not going to really make that much difference. There are so many chips/ECU flashes available for a stock car that they are going to get you close enough to that dyno tune that the extra cost of the dyno isn't worth your money.

If you want to get a baseline pull on the dyno, flash it with a power programmer and then dyno again to see the changes, OK. A custom tune for a stock car is probably a waste though.
