ZF6 Doing something "Wierd"
Been a while since I posted, but need a little bit of guidance here.
My Vette Did something for the first time today that was a little bit "unsettling"....
Was just on a highway doing about 70mph in 6th Gear (not really giving it too much throttle) when I gave it a bit to pass someone I felt the car "buck" and make a short mettalic "pop". The car definately hesitated and so I eased up on the throttle and then downshifted to 5th. All was fine. Went back to 6th and seemed fine. When I accelerated again, I felt it again but smaller hesitant bucks. Drove the rest of the way home in 5th and didnt have the problem. Just a note, it was DEFINATLY NOT a bad spark plug. Felt more like the Tranny just started to bang.
Question is, anyone experience this before (in 6th or any other gear for that matter) and could it be the clutch (as I do have 63K on it) or could it be the tranny itself. Any advise would be helpful!
Thanks
LT

Just wondering if anyone else here experienced the issue and can tell me if they think it's clutch or tranny... I pray its clutch..
