Its 90 degrees outside, ready to meet some friends for lunch, when I stop somewhere first. Come back, and while backing up,my Vette stalls. No biggie, but then it won't start. It will turn over, but thats it. Starts about 10 minutes later, enough for me to pull back into a parking spot. Then it won't start again. Just got it home, thanks AAA, got it started enough to back it away from the truck. But 1 minute later, when I wanted to start it again to back it into its parking spot in my driveway, no way.
Whats wrong with this car now?
It also felt like it wanted to stall when I was driving it today. In fact it did stall while my foot was on the clutch ready to shift to second gear.
I agree with others regarding ICM, but with this new info, I would also check the fuel pressure. Another consideration would be a clogged/restricted fuel filter.
Check to see if there are any codes set. While trying to start it, determine what is missing, air, spark, fuel, or compression. It will either be spark or fuel. I'm guessing fuel. Not to over state the obvious, but is there gas in it?

In the AM will check the ignition module. But I have to get this car to run for awhile cause this problem doesn't happen till it gets hotter. This car never liked the NJ heat.

There is no, "engine is "running" signal" to the fuel pump. The fuel pump is powered to run when it is supposed to by the ECM. In the case of a fuel pump relay failure, the oil pressure switch will power the fuel pump.

Hey everyone, got a simple question. Where is this ICM located?
(I know _twisted_ you had an extra) but they are pretty cheap at Auto Zone and my husband told me to just grab one, but, we can't seem to find where its located, or, are we looking in all the wrong places.
