It is impossible to leave town without something breaking...
I'm at CI VIII, So far my lights have been doing what they want - loose wire, fixed.
The battery went out - replaced
The alternator went out - replaced
and the radio is on the fritz - loose wire, will fix later.
Before this the car never had any real problems... not that these are big problems or anything
