One issue though is that the switch that you set when you floor the clutch that allows the ignition to fire, barely makes. I may bypass this puppy, because it is way up in the dash and does not look adjustable.

Can drive now, gonna rain.

COOL so how much for the custom pieces?

LD85, can you add something to the switch plunger to extend it? or clamp something to the clutch pedal to push the switch further?

I guess though trying to start it in gear won't hurt anything except move the car a bit. This could actually be a handy feature if you really had to use the starter to move the car.

Let me drive it for a few days to make sure,, but also, I found that Howe sell as Clevis, but I need to call them to check the pivot hole ID

If the Clevis is good , then you only would need a Firewall spacer and a pedal stop

to be continued..........

I have hung upside down with my head under the dash for no less than 2 hours over the past two week, I will look up in there but,,, it looks like a switch that is bolted to a bracket and has no adjustment,

the pedal has to travel forward or I would have to move the switch,, bypassing it is easy to try

How big is the clutch pin? If it's too big for this maybe you could get a newer pedal with the smaller pivot.

ZF Clutch pin is .500" dia.

What I did was unscrew the Round Eyelet end off of the stock ZF master and made a piece in the lathe which I attached it to out of CRS, then I tapped the mating end with the 5/16-24 thread.

Also, it needs to be a short as possible, mine was .750 from the Eyelet to the hole end

Here are pics of the Adjustable Clutch Pedal stop (patent pending )

This is 6061 Aluminum, with a .238" deep slot that is 1.250" wide. The slot fits over the clutch arm and then I have a strap that goes across the top using the two 10-32 holes to "strap" the mount to the arm.

The rod is 3/8-16 all thread with 2 jam nuts and a Rod Connector for the end stop, I also have a plastic button in the end of the Rod connector
