What causes upload "Crashes"???

Can you post a schematic of what you built? I agree, I think it's the way to go, safest for sure. I don't flash often because of the risk, but if I had a bench setup I may "play" some more.

I am also very interested in a schematic of your setup.

I am using TunerCAT and built a cable for reading/programming myself. I got a Checksum error on the first read. The second one finished successfully.
Now I am not so confident of programming it and would really appreciate a safer setup to do so.
