I need a new shift **** for a 6 speed and would like to look for an OEM part before I check out the aftermarket.Are the ***** the same for all ZF 6 speeds,Thanks.

The most current production part # 10224091 is a replacement for all ZF 6-speeds '90 thru '96. The PDF shows a part number for '90 thru '92 but it was replaced in '94 with the current number. I don't know about the '89 **** but I'm quite sure the later works. You just need to match the insert with the ****. That does NOT include the insert or the pin that secures it.
I'd post in the wanted/for sale section and try to find a "very good" one vs. a new from GM. It's quite expensive. I may have a couple Hurst ***** with the pattern on them but not an OE leather ****. I like the feel of the Hurst, it's a quite good sized ****.
