Emission problems? need help!!! 94 LT1
Hi, I have some Emission problems. Just recently have had the engine rebuilt , now 383 forged stroker. Ported and polished heads, intake and exhaust & Hooker headers with hi-flow cats. I'm having problems getting the tuner to have the car tuned properly. Meanwhile the plates have expired. I took the car in for an emissions test, which failed. On the ASM2525 test the HC ppm reading was 146, limit is 45. On the curb idle test readings of 840, limit is 200. I have about 350 km on the car since startup, and am running on syntetic oil now. Is their any thing that can be done prior to proper tuning. Thanks for any & all suggestions. Earl.
