Had the Vette out at the track and it seemed like "forever" when trying to shift from 2nd to 3rd... There's SO many shift tables in TunerCat that I'm not sure which one(s) to play with???
Here's my "Shift Time (sec) Vs. % TPS Vs. Shift Normal Mode, Low Alt." and it looks kinda weird, but maybe not...
Is this the correct table to make changes to if I'm trying to get "instant" shifts when shifting manually at the track (i.e. WOT)???
Other info: '76 Vette w/ '95 LT1/4L60e, minor mods (LT headers, 1.6 RR's, 2.5" exhaust w/ H-pipe, 3.36:1 rear)
Anyone know what "(sec)" is in the above-posted table? I initially thought "Seconds", but it doesn't take 6+ seconds for the shift to happen, so now am even more confused
I think I can help you but I am a little confused by your question. Are you stating that after it begins to make the upshift it seems to take too long until it actually changes between the gears, or are you stating that there is a delay when you manually push the lever up before it actually begins to make the upshift?
Roy
When I manually move the lever from 1st to 2nd, the engagement of 2nd gear is almost instantaneous, BUT when moved from 2nd to 3rd (and 3rd to 4th) there is what feels like more than a second before the next gear engages.... (the engine continues reving until the next gear engages)

Yes, that's what I am experiencing ^^^^
Why is there this "delay" in the 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th upshifts, but 1st to 2nd is OK?
Shift Time, Pressure, something else????

Reason: clarification
I cant tell you for sure why the delay is there, but I can tell you that mine will do the same thing. I dont believe it has anything to do with any of the tables you have listed, I think you need to get into the valve body to accomplish that.
The first table you initially listed Shift Time (sec) Vs. % TPS Vs. Shift Normal Mode if you set all of the #s to 6.375 it will speed up the shift time a little bit but I dont think it is going to fix your problem. You can also raise the line pressure a little bit in the main line pressure tables which will firm and quicken things up
There is a table in mine called manual mode up/down shift points. I havent messed with that but it is probably where I would start in trying to accomplish what you are.
Why are you wanting to shift it manually at WOT? Why not simply tune it to shift where you want it to when the pedal is to the floor? I dialed mine in so it shifts exactly where I want it to all the time using the normal mode up/down shift point table and the kickdown mode up/down shift points table.

Just a feeling of more "control" (read as: I wish it was a manual!), and not necessarily at WOT, but just when I want to "get on it" a bit, I like to shift myself. For the track though, I guess what you did would be best, and have it shift at specific points when @ WOT.
I'll try to poke around with some of the tables this weekend and will post the results....
That is one of the advertised features of the trans-go shift kit. They make a few different ones but one is advertised as full manual shifts and also working in automatic mode.
