I definently love the way the sound, but do feel it's a bit much in side at lower speeds, specially with the top on.
I plan on getting with my local upholstery shop and see what they can do with Dynamat to assist in quieting down the inside drone noise.
Have to say, I love the extra power now! Before I could only chirp the tires from a dead stop...now I can smoke um for about 15 feet! with brand new Goodyear F1's! Thinking twice about gears now...

Wicked! Your still da' man in my books. Bradley can dish it, but he cant take it. Your post kinda reminded me of something I said to an old girlfriend back in Grade 9. Did I date you in Grade 9? Did you have a sex change over?
Don't Cry Bradley.Ricky loves yah still.

So listen, after about 20 posts, I see nobody had actually answered your question! I tried the dynamat in my 91 Coupe. I have headers into flowmasters and the resonance vibrates my fillings loose! There was a minor improvement...not worth the $$$ if you ask me. IMO, their claims are or I did something wrong.

Funny u say this. I had flowmasters with no reasonance, then i switched to B&B, and I now have reasonance. Just ask HotRod, he will tell you that Magnablow is the best!
So you know I also had 1 3/4 hookers with a Random tech cat. Now I have true 3 inch duals.

i don't think they're all that loud. got a little louder after the headers, but with the stock cat it's not obnoxiously loud.
I have had flowmasters on the 86 We had and our 88 has dyno-max on it now. The Magna-flows I got are quieter than those. I got mine from Corvette Central they have just one outlet and the LT1 style tips. I had noticed that there have been alot of difference thought on how loud they are-- I wonder if the single outlet is quieter?
I have hooker long tubes, no cats, and cutouts before the stock mufflers. With those cutouts open the only thing the exhaust goes through is the resonator, which is just a hollow chamber. It's really loud. It sounds awesome, but with a fair amount of resonance at certain RPMs and loads. When I close the cutouts it is very quiet, but roars at WOT, and no resonance to be heard of. My setup works for me!
I had just put on the dual exhaust with magnaflow mufflers from corvette central on my 1990 auto 2.59 gear . No cats, the mufflers are the dual outlet. As far as sound,, it's a bit louder and lower note than stock,, still can hear the radio just like before, no more resonence than with stock exhaust,,, but it gets loud when you put your foot into it. This was the exact look and sound I was hoping for, coudn't be more happy,, I get a ton of copliments on the sound, people say thats what a vette should sound like,,get even more compliments when I blow past someone !
