he said she said........to each his own...i am happy with mine not because i already committed to by them but, due to the actual performance of the tire....maybe theirs is on backwards of the designated rotation

i just bought my sumi htz2's off of tire rack.com i'm hoping that they are a pretty great tire... let me know what you think about yours after you break them in!

I have them on the rear only in 315/35 and while not horrible they are no comparison to the Firestone Wide Oval 285/40s that I had on the rear before (the FSWOs are now on the front). With the FSWOs on the rear it was difficult to spin them and they never broke traction on the corners unless I was trying to. Now the Sumis will spin anytime I start out to fast and I don't trust them as much in the curves. They were cheap, but I will not buy them again.

I like these Sumitomo tires. Tire Rack's website gives test data and comparisons with other more expensive tires, and these tires held their own against more expensive tires.

I conducted my own test and I was able to reach 72 mph on a very curvy and secluded road. But keep in mind, these are summer tires. Drive like a gentleman when the temp drops below 40 degrees F.
