I just checked midamerica and they say they sell the aftermarket ones with carbon fiber covers or the "OEM". I wonder if they are really both the cheap ones....Anyone know for sure? They are like 50 bucks.

Cheap plastic or OEM, it is an improvement.

I recall not being able to wear a hat in the car BEFORE I bought the deflectors so there is less air in your face while driving, and less air buffeting your ears.

They work for sure. As a weed-fiend, I smoke in my car. But I must have a window open when doing so. The deflectors make one hell of a difference for my purposes. Before I installed them, the f'n ashes were always blowing back in my face. Damn I miss vent windows on cars.
