Default Vacuum On C4

http://www.trinitydigital.com/media/hvac.jpgMy AC vaccum setup is missing some lines. Even w/ diagram from service manual it's tough to see where these attach, I found the Connector ASM vacuum hose. It's missing One black line going in and one going out. Man this is tough. I can't even see where this Connector ASM vacuum hose connects. It's just floating in the diagram and hanging under the passenger hush panel. I can't believe these so called techs who are trusted to fix things and just make them worse.

I'll move it to the Tech forum for you. Let's see if that helps.

Default Where does this attach?

Anyone know how, where this attaches? It seems to be floating in the manual diagram and it's just hanging under the passenger side hush panel missing two vacuum lines.

My 89 has that same deal.
One of the ports is not used.

Is your HVAC system not operating correctly?
It needs vacuum from the plenum(*engine).

There is black plastic tubing that comes off the plenum and goes to the HVAC system.
Here is a pic of mine

please note that in my pic, I forgot to put back on a small check valve and a 90* elbow that belongs on the end of that line there.

Default 89 Paul in Cal, How to trace the routing?

Thanks 89 Paul. I found that vaccum line after knuckle busting back through the wire harness. Next question. How to trace the vacuum line back to HVAC. I have the source down near the battery connected to the programmer via the black line. Is that correct?

Default Anyone know where this goes?

Still not clear on vaccum setup even with service manual. Does anyone have more info on routing specificallY? This shows two lines going in, both coming from programmer. Mine only has one going in and one going out. Can't find the vaccum source line inside the I/P. Traced back to programmer, I'm still not sure.
