CCM problems on a 93
I am getting CCM codes 31, 33, 35, 37 on my car, the fsm says I have open circuits. Anybody shine some light on these codes for me? The fsm does not tell you much about these.
TIA

it should...
since the 92 and 93 are about identical, I have hit the ol' book.
check in book one, starting on (or about) page 8D-38.
It looks like there is a problem with the LCD, CCM or the wiring between the two.

DVM = Digital Volt Meter.
The FSM calls for Kent Moore tools to trouble shoot everything. Kent Moore J39700 Brake Out box is used to troubleshoot most systems, then you need the adapter to connect the box to the cars connector. Look for this stuff on E-Bay, the J39700 box can go between $20.00 & $100.00. Adapters show up once in a while. You may just get lucky and be able to read the pins right from the connector?

In my case, the car seems to be running normally (with some unknown whistling noise when I give it some gas that I haven't tracked down yet). I did notice the SYS flash a few times but I thought that was a weak battery. I just bought a battery tender but I haven't hooked it up yet.
Manual says that these codes should clear by themselves at next start up of the CCM but that didn't happen. They did stay clear so far after I cleared it manually.

When my 93 SYS was flashing it was "LOSS OF SERIAL DATA" faults. Per the manual if this condition occurs after start up the engine will start again, if the condition does not clear out on it's own the injectors will not fire. IE: mine was intermittent so the car ran fine. After Trying to troubleshoot as best I could (FSM calls for J39700 and -10 adapter, -10 adapter is NOT available) I replaced my ECM with 1 from E-Bay and everything is OK now.
I do not remember my fault codes, But the Service ASR light lit along with flashing SYS and the A/C light flashed also.

I have had the same problem; it's intermittent. Clear all of your DTC's and monitor for a few days. I use the paper clip method to check for DTC's.
Since all of these codes were thrown together it is most likely a loose connection somewhere. Most of the circuits I have seen carry the hot wire right to the device, and close the ground in the circuit to minimize the risk of accidentally smoking a device or circuit via an inadvertant ground. You probably have a loose or corroded ground connector somewhere.
The FSM has a good ground distribution diagram, and I am planning to check the condition of each ground. Will let you know how I make out.

intermittent
i have 93 that also has intermittent problems,it will run great for 1-2 or 10 days then it starts coughing and backfires, sounds like it's only on 4 cylinders, system light plus security light flash and on the speed display it reads sys low,i had it looked at for the past 3 months by a couple different mechanics, they say that unless it happens while it's there they have no clue, can't get any codes etc. yesterday on my way to work it happened 100 feet from my mechanic so i went in he hooked it up while it was happening,he started checking the manifold air temp conn.said it was reading 32 degrees? called today said come get the care he has no clue what is wrong...i need help please! the computer was replaced 4 months ago along with alot of other crap, had the car for 5 years has 80,000 on it,drive it everyday until now it's been the perfect .help please i'm in fla. now used to live in pasadena area md.

Might even monitor the 12 volts using a DVM from inside the car while you drive. Can pick up this point in lots of places but the cig lighter might be easy or aux wires under the center console. Also don’t forget about ground connections.
Just a thought and a starting place.
