Default Differential rebuild

Has anyone any experience buying a rebuilt Dana 36 from Corvette Central? Any suggestions on someone who can do it better? Thanks in advance for any input .

Default Differential rebuild

I did quite a bit of shopping/checking before I did mine.
I bought a rebuilt ring gear carrier/posi unit from Ikerds.

The price was great and the carrier has worked flawlessly.

It was a lot of work and now I kind of wished I had gone to a Dana 44, but the 36 is working fine for now.

I bought one from Ikerds for my C3 a year or so back when I still owned it. My dad also bought one for his C3. Ikerds is very well known and actually sells their rears to many of the corvette sites (corvette central for example). So the best thing to do is go to the source....

Just so happened a piece of metal was floating around in there and damaged the rear... they have a 99% success rating with there units. Mine was a fluke... no matter though because Pat Ikerd sent me a new one no questions asked!!!!! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
