You're going to need to give a specific year since some have aluminum heads and others have iron. Also, there were a ton of different options available throughout the years and that stuff adds up pretty quickly.

I weighed my automatic '93 coupe and it was about 3100lbs.

Actually all verts (c-4's) had alum. heads. I have a 6pd and the title says 3313. My automatic weighed 3400 at MIR. Both are 93's

Somehow I don't think that is enitirely true. Like the other stated above, some had aluminum and some had iron.

I believe only certain year Convertibles automatically had aluminum heads, not all of them. It is in the Technical FAQ.

Have you looked on the driver's door for the sticker that shows the GVWR information? That sticker will show the car weight (on each axle) and the load carrying capacity.

Chevrolet introduced aluminum cylinder heads on the 1986 convertibles. All 86 verts and later production coupes got the aluminum head. There were a total of 8,594 cars produced with aluminum heads. These heads gave the car a rating of 235HP in '86.

The build sheet will have the GVWR weight including the total, front and rear axle weights. GVWR is the weight of the car, a full tank of gas, and the maximum cargo weight including passengers as specified on the door sticker.

Shipping weight of the car is also on the build sheet. That weight is the weight of the emptry car and (IIRC) 2 gallons of gas.

The weight varies between body styles and weights were also different based on the year of the car.

You can get a copy of the build sheet for your car (along with a copy of the original window sticker) from the [URL="https://store.corvettemuseum.com/services/buildsheet.asp"]National Corvette Museum{/URL] by filling out the information on the page.

My 92 vert is listed at 3323lbs that's shipping weight with 1784 on the front and 1539 on the rear. I've changed a few things so it may be off by a few pounds now.

Actually it is true. The verts did not come out until mid year in 1986. At the same time the vette got alum. heads. The early 86 and before had iron heads, but none were verts.

Why not swing by a set of scales such as those used at a local garbage dump. Usually they are accurate within 20 lbs. Most of the time the people running the scales are glad to weigh it for you.
