Default Another Melling question

I am confused. My 89 L-98 was rebuilt recently with M55 high volume pump. I don't race the car. It is a daily driver. Should I replace the oil pump to be safe? Does any one know the pan depth for a stock pan or the part number for a pickup to go with pump#10550 which is the Melling part number for the 89 engine? Thanks.

Question is, Do you occasionally push the car?
Do you consider your engine high performance?
Is an additional $85 (approx) worth the peace of mind?

Per Mellings info - the 10550 is a stock setup with a 25% increase in volume. Supposedly a lower pressure spring is included, but others have never recieved it.
Since it uses a standard 5/8" outlet you should be able to use a standard pickup. Recommend melling's pickup that bolts to the pump.

I would change it!!!!!!!

***** Just a quick note - Use a stud setup instead of a stock bolt for the pump
