Default What Length PushRods?

Just want to get an idea of the length pushrods you guys/gals have moved to when modding your engines.

Mods like reduced base circle camshafts, decking block, thicker/thinner head gaskets, cylinder head change, etc.

Thanks,

Jake

Jake,
You will likely be somewhere between 7.100 and 7.400.
Too wide of a spread to guess. Trust no ones opinion. Check it with an adjustable pushrod checker and a checker spring.

Right. I measured mine with an adjustable pushrod checker and ordered the length I need. Preload's set and new engine's in the car now.

I was just wondering what lengths other guys are using; just for my information/curiousity.

605/622 lift camshaft, Imp SS head gaskets, .050 longer valve stems, and I'm still running the stock pushrod length.

My L98 with a ZZ4 uses 7.3. I also have aftermarket heads that are milled .030 so that comes into it. I guess there is no standard combo.

I ended up with 7.15s but on a friends LT1 it was 6.9X.
