90 Air Conditioning problem
A/C has always worked great. Yesterday (very hot day) it just up and quit. Finished the day with the top off until I could get it to the garage. Here's what I find.. Charge OK..Compressor and clutch OK..Low refrig cut-off switch OK. Fuse in panel OK. Data Master scan shows no A/C request and no a/c clutch voltage when A/C is turned on and temp adjusted to 60 degrees. So where do I go from here, is there another fuse or relay I need to check??

.......do you have a service manual?...using that, check if you have power to the appropriate relay and go from there.....also, double check and apply power directly to the ac clutch as verify that it is working...then, see if you have power to the electrical connector to the ac clutch....good luck

If it doesn't run, how do you know the charge is good? It takes 50 psi to close the Low Pressure Switch Contacts and even a 1/2 lb of gas will do that - but not for long. If the contacts are open, there isn't going to be an a/c request on your scan. If a low charge code is set in the Panel, it isn't going to work. If there's an intermittent or open at the the low pressure switch harness, same thing. I'd start by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery (or remove memory from the Panel) - then jumper the low pressure switch harness with a paperclip and see if it engages - watch for ice; slap some gages on it so you can see what the charge is with it running.
