Throttle Position Sensor question
I have a stock 1995 c4 with 6-speed.
I measured the volts on the TPS sensor last night, using Datamaster, and found the voltage ranged from 0.61 at idle to 3.94 at full throttle. My understanding is this voltage is too high at idle and too low at full throttle.
Do I need to replace the TPS sensor? Or are there some other tests I should perform first? If I replace it, are there any special installation instructions? (My FSM says something about a 'learn' cycle??
Could this be contributing to the lean condition that Datamaster is reporting? The car stumbles badly when accelerating. A fuel pressure gauge shows at I am maintaining good pressure at the fuel rail even when accelerating.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Ron
