You all talked me into Corsa's but...

I have a stock 92 that I am looking to get a little better sound out of. I have been scanning the exhaust posts for awhile and for what I am looking for the Corsa's sound perfect. I just can't part with the cash right now for a complete cat back system.

Would getting just a set of mufflers (maybe used) help any? Would it change the sound much and would I gain or loose any power?

Get a set of muffler elims if all you want is better sound.. local muffler shop will prolly charge you around $60 to make them.

You will lose some bottom end torque with those.

Flowmasters or Magnaflows might be a nice compromise between the expense of Corsa' and the cheap cost of eliminators.

Muffler eliminators have a whiny sport import sound :U at high rpm on my 94. I ordered Corsa's system today. :chevy
