Little history, in December 2006 had a dealer install a GM Crate motor 350ci, 330 hp /384 tq kept the TPI (I know mistake),original injectors. Replaced headers with Hooker 2151, Corsa duel exhaust, had a chip made by a forum vendor (who will remain nameless).
March car began rough idle, replaced 02 sensor, and new Bosch 24# injectors, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and fuel pressure gage attached to the schrader valve. I adjusted the fuel pressure down so it is between 38-40, will adjusting the fuel pressure solve the problem, or do I need another chip made? I average 13.5-14 mpg around town. The car runs good just rich.
I would be best if you could get a real time scan done. The BLM count will show just how rich it is. What have you checked on the car at this point besides the above? Do you have any codes? What do the spark plugs look like?
Adjusting the fuel pressure will help, but only slightly. If the chip you are using is tuned for 22# injectors and you are running 24# injectors, you will probably need a bin change.

Have not done a real time scan, also have not checked the plugs. No codes, no check engine light. My thoughts are the air fuel mixture is probably way off.
That is possible as long as the other engine components are in good working order. I would pull the plugs and see what they look like. If they are black/carbon/wet, you are definately running rich. There are a number of things that can make an engine run rich.
Which side of town do you live on? I'm always curious about what auto shops corvette owners take their car to in AZ. What shop are you using?
I can scan your engine for you but don't have time to burn you a chip. I run full time on a emualtor. You can scan it yourself if you get a ALDL to RS232 cable, free scan software (WinALDL) , and a laptop.

The monsoon can't get here soon enough,
Beth
Beth nice to here from a forum member in AZ. Exotic Muscle in Tempe did the headers, exhaust, injectors, and fuel pressure regulator and gage. Merl's work is good in my book. I have the memecal (sp.) and an adaptor chip which I believe is the problem. I do not have an ALDL, nor a RS232 cable or laptop.........sorry, however if you could point me in the right direction I can aquire the above.
I agree we need the Monsoon to cool things off .....if it can just wait until after 7:00 pm when I get home......clean car thing.
The cable was about $100 but you can make one too.
...then let the learning begin!
Exotic Muscle...another forum member mentioned them. I haven't heard of them but definitely stay away from ADS (Arizona Diagnostic Specialties) in Chandler.
Glad you mentioned the company in Chandler, I believe the dealer who installed my engine referred me to that company and for some reason I did not go.
Exotic Muscle is good, Merl is right off the 202 Rio Salado exit. BTW I am in the Ahwatukee Foothills long way from Cave Creek.
