Default 89' Clutch Slave Cylinder discontinued by GM?

Well my Pepboys LUK brand Clutch Slave is making a mess on the garage floor and it's time for a new one. I am having a hard time finding a GM or good quality replacemant.
Autozone N/A
Napa shows one in Fl. @ $135 + Tax + Ship
Last Detail N/A and told me GM Has discontinued!
Advance Auto $90 but is not sure he can get it.
I called the partsladi on Ebay and they can't get one.

My question is, can I make a 92' thur 96' work?
Does anyone know if there is a quality unit out their?

I NEED MY VETTE BACK ON THE ROAD!
PLEASE HELP!

Thanks, RU

89' through 91' is a different part number.

The '89 and '90 are discontinued, but a '91 to '96 will work just fine. If this is the first time you are replacing the slave, you should also replace the master and the line, and make sure you use the GM fluid. Go to http://www.zfdoc.com for more info.

Good luck

The new ones are made of Cast steel and are much better than the old deep drawn tube style. It will work fine.
