Default 84 gauge cluster ?

Hello new to the site and have a ? I'm looking at getting an 84 corvette that the crossfire motor has been swapped with a carburated 350 and I'm wondering if the cluster will work with this engine. As is the cluster doesn't work and before i buy it and have the cluster fixed.I wanted to make sure it can be made to work with this engine. Thanks in advance.

Default Yes it will work

The instrument cluster is independent from the ECM. It can receive the pulses from the speed sensor and also you can use the tach out sensor from the HEI distributor for the digital tachometer. Don't forget to use the coolant sensor and harness and also the oil pressure sensor and oil temp sensor from the original engine. Those will work with the instrument cluster too.

Yes. All but the MPG readout. You may want to shop for a car that hasn't suffered major butchering at the hands of another. Like the cluster, if you don't know how it worked originally, it will be very difficult to trouble shoot and fix problems in a car with unique, one off, modifications.

RACE ON!!!
