MAF senor
I have an 88 vette and the SES light came on and it came up with a code 33..well my mechanic checked everything and determined that the problem would lie with the MAF sensor so I decided to put an aftermarket MAF sensor and now it is giving me a Code 34...My mechanic insists that the replacement MAF sensor is faulty...What would be causing this??..Is it the sensor or is it some other problem..He's checked the connectors, wiring, relay and everything else imaginable..Would I do better going with a brand new factory sensor??

Yes whent the MAF sensor is plugged it showed a Code 34 and unplugged it showed a Code 33..So it is the sensor..So my question is whether the Vettes have a problem with aftermarket MAF sensors (in this case I got a faulty one) or should I go directly to a factory MAF sensor....Thanks for all of your responses!
