Default TH350 into 1995???

Can it be done?

I have a TH350 and the cost to ruin it if i have a problem is significantly less than a 4L60E.

Has it been done?

Any help is appreciated.

A t350 is a big step down from a 4l60e, (in my opinion a POS). The rear of the trans is different, as is the lenght, so there is fabrication involved, which negate any savings. You will achieve, less strength, less performance, less reliability, less economy, and will destroy the value of the car.

But i would not get rid of the 4l60E, and would have the ability to go back to stock.

There is an adapter made that bolts between the TH350 trans case a Corvette 700R4/4L60 (4 bolt) tail housing that will retain the stock "C" beam. For race, it is one thing. but I would never sacrifice my overdrive in a DD. I have no clue what adjustments, modifications or substitutions have to made to keep the computer(s) from going nuts.

RACE ON!!!

Have the 4l60e built by a reputable builder and it will last.

Thank you all for the input, sounds like i am keeping the 4L60E.

A local race shop has several on the street and track that have lasted a long time.

it is coming out next week for the rebuild.
