Good point, hmmm. I always hear about how the GS caliper is suppose to be sturdier than the std J55. I often wonder if this is true and if so to what extent. Sure doesn't seem that way by looking at them but who knows.

What the pictures don't show is that fact that the pistons on the J55 are different as well. Too bad the pads aren't bigger to cover more brake rotor surface for more braking torque. But, thanks for the info. :yesnod:

In what way? Do you mean between the J55 and JL9? Elaborate a little if you have time. I'm trying to gather as much info as possible. Thanks! -Jeff
