I've got an 89 and am thinking of buying slicks. I am getting no traction at all. I know a person who has an 85. I am thinking of buying the slicks he uses. Will these rims that fit an 85 fit my 89?
No, the rims I'm thinking of buying are 15" weld-lite rims with MT E/T Streets. A fellow forum member has an 85 and is running them, so I just wonder if they'd fit my 89.
Thanks tan, the offset was my worry there. I feared that the offsets would be different. Can the offsets be changed via an adapter, or would that just lead into more problems?
I dont think you can use spacers, because you need spacers to use 88-96 wheels on 84-87 cars... meaning if you put those wheels on your car, they would stick out way too much. I dont think there is anything you can do about that unfortunately.
