Extra Ventallation
I am doing an extensive rebuild on my 84 Vette. Starting with the conversion to a hot (500 Plus Hp) carbed motor. I have removed all of the body work from the firewall forward. After inspecting the front I decided and compleated last night adding extra air flow. I removed the area at the tag bracket, bumper honeycomb and fiberglass crash bar. The hole in the crash bar follows the triangle in the bumper mounting bracket on the frame horns. I lined a license plate frame with stainless mesh and of cours put a couple of small driving lights in for looks. Has anyone done this and if so did you notice a gain in eith horsepower or cooling effiency???
