Default Glass Targa Top Question

I'm a first-time vette owner, and have the opportunity to buy a used 1991 glass top to replace my hardtop. The seller claims it is blue glass, but it appears sort of grayish-blue to me. First, were separate colors, i.e., both gray and blue glass available, and if so how do you tell the difference between the two? Does the gray version (if there was one) have a bluish tinge to it? Hope this isn't too stupid of a question.

The glass tops come in two flavors: bronze and blue. Neither one of them will actually remind you of their stated color when you look at it alone. Only in looking at them side by side can you kinda sorta see that one is vaguely blueish and the other one isn't.

If you are worried about a blue color clash with your car's exterior paint color don't be. Both tops look black until you get right up on them.

Welcome to the CF and congrats on your new 'Vette.
