Default Diagnosing my 86
Does anyone know the the circled procedure is on the image below:



It's a Distributor bypass. I have gone down this page step by step and I'm at that point for hard starting. Besides the fuel pump (which I do has 42 lbs of fuel pressure with the pressure tester) I need to finish this procedure.

any Ideas out there?

I believe they are referring to the EST wire and it's connector located to the inward side of brake booster. Single tan/black stripe wire.

That is the same wire you disconnect to check/set your base ignition timing.
