I have a 96 lt4 vette, im picking up an slp exhaust tommorow, but the only thing is that it doesnt have the o2 bungs in it due to that it is for the 92-95 lt1's.
My question is that has anyone used an o2 simulator instead of using the rear o2's?
The o2 simulators I see on ebay are a 1 wire install, does anyone know how this works?

Heck of a lot easier and cheaper to run the exhaust by an exhaust shop and have them weld a bung in place. One of the aft bungs is actually part of tyhe cat assy (passenger side IIRC). As such, you only need one bung welded in place on the drivers side.
Like what? The aft 02 sensors are only there to verify the cats are operating correctly. They have no bearing on how the engine performs.
If you want to see if you like the exhaust system, then leave the sensor off and ignore the SES light.
Will doing to put the car in a limited or safe mode like some other cars?
I can take off the light with my scan tool, but i think it will just come back on.
Just in the mean time though, can I tap 1 wire from the connected o2 sensor and run it to the other side? I believe there is only 1 wire that goes to the ecu, so ill just tap both together for now if you think it would work.

You're correct, if you turn off the SES light it will come back on unless the issue is corrected.
