Default Injectors 89-91

Some of you say the stock injector where no good 89-91 that what someone told you or you had a problem, I have talk to guys who's went out 40-60.000 Miles, and like me got over 130.000. Not all of you say the same even after repeating your self. I did not need to ask, I look at Mid america Motorworks,All injectors Accels 21-23-24-Like Summit racing,NO 22 lbs, Auto Parts sell Replacement M.Port but cannot tell you the lbs, I e-mail Mid america, They told me what i new,Accels Flow up to 24lbs the fuel pressure regulator controls the amount of fuel that is injected with a stock pressure Regulator the accels will Flow at 22lbs just like the factory. I say 22lbs, I do have 24lbs in a 1990-1991, Because of what anyone said with a stock regulator i still would not go over 24 lbs, Because or the spray tip, I have not look at anymore tips. The car i run is my C3.

Well, lets see. The 89-91 Multec injectors have a high failure rate and are unservicable. That has been posted many times and Sam Lam has posted documentation from GM and Rich at cruizinperformance. The Multec injectors are good as long as they are working properly. They might last 20K miles or 200K miles just the same as any other injector.

The injector size (lb/hr) means that is what it flows according to fuel pressure it needs. Different brand fuel injectors are set up for different fuel pressures.

85 L98...24 lb/hr
86-91 L98...22 lb/hr
92-96 LT1...24 lb/hr
96 LT4...28 lb/hr

The 85 uses a different fuel pressure than 86-91. The 86-91 uses a different fuel pressure than 92-95.

Not sure if this helps, or I just confused myself.

If your injectors are working, don't F... with them. If one goes out you can replace just one. How bad can injectors be that last 100,000 miles.

since your assult thread was locked...

Your post is confusing. I can't follow the train of thought... without a solid idea here, I don't know how to help you.

If you were tired, so be it... then take a moment and repost it. But to light up on everyone who can't read your mind is just assinine.

I cant tell if youre asking a question or stating a fact on injectors.

You have a 89-91 TPI in a C3?
