Installing B&M
is it pretty common sense to install or should I let someone who knows what they are doing? I would like to try, but do not want my car to be sitting in my driveway for a week and me carless

The manual transmission shifter install is probably a 6 on a difficulty meter of 1-10. Most of the time, you have to remove the exhaust. I've done it without removing the exhaust, but it's a pain either way. If you plan to do it yourself, and you're not mechanically inclined, give yourself a full day for it. My first one took me about 2 hours, but it could of been much longer is things hadn't gone smoothly.
