balancer 3rd bolt..need help!
i am in the process of replacing my water pump which went to hell sunday..well after i got the pump off i decided to replace the plugs,wires and opti cap
well thanks to this forum i got the balancer off and have the opti cap replaced, now im trying to bolt back up the balancer and i can get 2 bolts to start but the 3rd wont line up
i thought i had the hard work behind me?? i hate to have gotten this far and now be stuck on this
any advice

The holes are not symmetric. There is only one orientation that will line up all three bolt holes.
In one position only one hole will line up, in the next position you can get 2 bolts in, and in the the third all three bolts will go in. I fought it for the better part of a day on a 1992 Corvette before I figured it out, don't feel too bad.
