No oil is bad
This piston didn't enjoy the lack of engine oil.
I wonder if a warmer stat would have saved it.

Just put it back in and add a can of Restore to the oil. Fix it right up.

I didn't technically do it but it is torn apart in my garage next to my C4.
It's a piston out of my newly acquired Suzuki ATV. I acquired it after it went boom, more like a wimper.

Hey, I saw McGuyver weld a rod that was worse than that with a nickel and a battery charger. Probably worth a try for 5 cents

hears a quick story. when my parent first started going out, my dad must have said my mom should have her oil checked. my dad built old school race cars locally and was a line mech. at a Chevy dealer. So, my mom pulls in to get some Gas. I guess that it was full service back then. so while she was there she had the attendant check her oil for her... like 3 minutes later he pears around the hood and says "Hey Lady You Ain't Got No Oil". so my mother says " well put some in"

The jug is OK it is going to be bored .5 over. That's mm not (") which is around .020" over.
A little more damage in the engine than I thought it would be but nothing too serious. It's going to take a cam and a rocker arm which I didn't expect to be bad.
I'll try the seafoam next time I'm in a similar situation.
