Build your own from scratch ?????
Hi All,
I need to pull everything down to and including the intake manifold on my L98 this weekend.
I was thinking about the long arduous job ahead of me when I came across this thread on fullsizebronco.com.

I'm sure some of you must have seen this and possibly on this forum but what the heck. The ultimate can always be admired repeatedly ...
This guy built his own HUMMER from SCRATCH and I'm complaining about a little R/R? I'm only bolting and unbolting stock parts !!!Sheesh ...
The next time ANY one of us gets discouraged while "fixing" their vette, think about this guy and what he managed to do .....
Actually, the next time your wife or spouse complains about a messy garage, use this as shining example of spousal support. It didn't work on my wife though. She called him crazy!

With the skills, material, machinery, and time, you can build anything anyone else has built! BUT.......the cost will be many many times higher than if you bought the thing you are copying!!!!! Here is a very good saying that will save you money, time, and your sanity......"Don't make things that you can buy".
