SB2 engine pics
GM had a large display at Mid-Ohio and they brought a cutaway of a SB2 engine (NASCAR). Since it was asked about before, here are some pics
i would like to have seen that.

I have seen that engine before... and when folks asked, I couldn't find my pictures.
What got me was the valve train. Most impressive.
IIRC, when NASCAR created the "stock" head, they used the Pontiac design that Penske came up with. That became the basic head for all GM products in NASCAR. This was done as a cost cutting measure... I am sure it ended up saving $3.00.
