Default Adjustment to tilt side window out on an '88...

I need to make an adjustment to tilt the drivers side window outward on my '88 coupe. The glass is not up too far...it's just too tight against the weatherstripping at the top. I've read the window adjustment tech tips and seen reference to a 10mm bolt located near the door handle. I've loosened the only 10mm bolt in that area other than the anti rattle pad and tried to adjust the window with no luck. The window goes up and down fine and is very square in the closed position. So, hopefully it's a simple fix...thanks.

You need to remove the door pannel. At the upper right corner of the aluminm shield, there are two 10 mm bolts, one through the shield, and the other just above it in a hole in the fiberglass. This is the rear stop/tilt adjustment bracket. Older C4's have a pivoting adjustment with a bolt in a slot, newer ones a set screw/locking nut.
