Default 8,000 rpm tach in a 96 lt1

Can a instrument cluster with a 8000rpm tach from a 96 lt4 car be put in a 96 lt1 car with any body module issues, such as vats problems.

Default

I read a post on the Tech board recently saying it'll bolt right in with no problem.

Default no problem

The gauge cluster will drop right in no problems whatsoever. I've had several friends do his and never an issue.
