Superram, passenger valve cover
Okay, so I've got most everything going back together, then I get to the point where I need to reinstall the passenger side valvecover. I can get the bugger on! There seems to be a clearance problem where the gap between the #2 valves and the SR runners isn't wide enough to get the cover on.
After wrangling with it for 20 minutes, It's obvious where the interference is as there's valve cover shavings :eek: on the tops of the rockers! Time to Clean up-come in-and-ask y'all!

You need to cut that valve cover so it matches up with the runners.
Take a die grinders and grind away so it slips in

I looked I don't think I used my stock covers with the SR
But on smallblocks car I ground it through the outside layer
also try rotating the valvetrain sometimes a rocker arm could be in the way

fit ok on mine. just had to cut off the drippers. Sometimes however the passenger can be a bitch to get back on. I have to push it hard toward the rear. I think the breather baffle gets caught on one of the rockers. but eventually it will go on.

Mine were a pain to get on. With a little grinding I got them on. As it was said above grind the valve covers to match the runners. Don't take too much though.
