Default slp claw

I was looking to do some mods and the air filter was next on my list. I was torn between the ram air intake and the slp. I looked at othe vettes at shows with these systems, decided on the slp because mainly the looks. didnt want to add any more plastic to my engine compartment(ram air) over time the ram air box was showing some age. I installed the slp not expecting any major change in performance, but it cant hurt either. The car sounded better and ran great, but when i got on it the car caught me by surprise and broke loose going into second. never seen that before. i have a auto with 315 tires! this product looks great and performs as well.

Which year vette did you put the claw on?
I've been looking around at these but can't find one for my '88.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

What is the diameter going into the CLAW? Maybe for my '88 I could use some reducer between the MAF and the CLAW?
Any ideas on this?

I cut the radiator shroud to get some cold air in. Now I'm working on a cover to clean it up.

After I got some cold air to it, I broke the 315's loose shifting in to third.

It's a nice looking product, I just think it's way overpriced.
