Default Chambered Exhaust with headers...

Considering some more options on my exhaust...

Current: Have a B&B 3", Hooker SuperComp Headers, no cats, and a Hotcam. Loud which is fun but the resonance is bad! Gives me a headache.

Thinking About: Hookers with Chambered exhaust like the Corvette Cental or http://www.sweet-thunder.com/cat_bac..._corvette.html

Looking for someone who has the Chambered exhaust with the headers to get some input?

Isn't the ID of the chambered only 2 1/4 or maybe 2 1/2. You would lose perforance over your B&B 3 inch system. Go to Corsa.

Want to sell the B&B 3 inch?? I am interested. Trade you a like new Borla SS cat back off my 96 LT4 if your B&B will fit my 96...O2 threaded bung on later Lt4 engines.

If you are wanting a Corsa system i have one on my 95 id be willing to trade for your B&B. It came on my car when i bought it and id rather have a B&B myself. resonance doesn't bother me. but then I'm also 20.

Default Trades welcome!

Yes, I would consider a trade or a sale of the B&B. It is a great system but that resonance, well I guess I am in Geezerville now.

The B&B is definately the system I would want to have on my car if I was 20! My neighbors hate it!

I've been eyeing the chambered systems on that site for a while now, and from what I can gather you don't want one. Being barely 22 myself, I like it loud, and nothing beats the sweet tone of a chambered system. However, with the radical cam I've got, my longtube headers, and the 3 inch system, chambered mufflers are too loud even for my taste. They don't really seem to change the volume of the exhaust at all, they just make it a nice deep rumble. I had chambered elims on before I changed cam and all and it was beautiful, but with the other mods it's too much. Since you've got headers and don't want a really loud exhaust I'd advise you away from those systems.

There is nothing sweeter than chambered exhaust...unless of course when they are side pipes!!
Yes they're loud but I've had them on my cars since '67.

No, it's 2 3/4, same as stock, at least on my 92. I have the CC system though, cat back, not with headers. Zero resonance at 70mph.
