Sorry to hear about the vette, I live in Ottawa and did the same thing 6 weeks ago. Lost it in the rain cleared over a median and took out the marker sign at the end. My total was $ 15000 at a GM dealer.
When I went to pick up the car last week *&^$(*&(&* jerks didn't match the paint on the hood or the bumpers. After looooosing it they had to bring in a paint specialist from Dupont to make sure the paint was done right. I'm supposed to get it back wednesday, ya heard that for the last 3 weeks.

guys i am 25 years old and had problems finding an insurance that would go with me,but right now i don't think i can drink up 15k of damages...what is my best option,do you guys think i should go with the insurance since i might be able to get insured by another company?or claim it because i have a florida drivers lisence since 1994 with no accidents or tickets and so i can plate a car in florida and get florida plates and insure it there if no onwe insures me?

The first day I had mine it was raining (San Diego, go figure! It was also the last time it rained!!!). Anyway, I'd heard about the ASR so I took it to a parking lot and thought I'd learn how to spin the sucker. With ASR on, I almost couldn't do it. ASR off, yeeeehaawwww.
I leave ASR on, just in case I get crazy.
