I don't know what an 87ish is, but if it is an "87" then it should have the older style pancake compressor. This means you can use the same delete pulley that an 82-92 F-body uses. Just go to E-bay and run a search using key words "Camaro A/C delete" and you should get a few examples of what I'm referring to.
Does someone make an A/C delete pully for an 87ish vette?
I tried searching and came up with 'smog delete pully' . ugg.

Joe,
Here is a picture of the Camaro AC delete pulley describe by in the previous posts installed on my 85. I am not sure if the 87 has the same AC compressor as an 85, if so the Camaro AC delete pulley works as can be seen in the picture. If the 87 has a different AC compressor (I do not remember which year they changed from the Harrison compressor to the Japanese compressor) this AC delete pulley may not work with that version of the AC mount bracket. Hope this helps.

Why use a Delete for your car?
save some money and really clean up your engine bay by removing the A/C with NO pulley.
This works on 86-88 C4 so hopefully you 87'ish fits in there.
Remove A/C.
Cut Serpentine belt.
Run through the engine standard way except now with A/C gone it will now go through the tensioner BACKWARDS.
The tensioner does not care which way it spins.
Measure new lenght of belt.
Go to NAPA for new belt.

I did the SAME thing!
I just didn't want to make it sound too difficult.
