Default 95 LT1 Electrical Issue

I discovered a problem with my electrical system on my way to work this am.

The issue was, the time on the clock was correct, but no sound was coming from the radio when I turned it on.

Yes I have done some searching, but can't go too far because of our corporate internet monitoring.

Here's what I do know that works correctly....
1. The security light illuminates whenever either door is open.
2. The door ajar light illuminates whenever either door is open.
3. All interior lights work correctly when the dimmer switch is pushed to its topmost position.
4. The underhood lights operate normally.
5. The map light comes on if I depress the switch, ignition on or off.
6. Cd's can be inserted and ejected.
7. SCV is displayed in the lower right hand corner of the radio display.
8. Fuses F36 and F37 are good.
9. The clock displays the correct time as long as the radio is off. If the radio is on, the time does not update until the radio is turned off.

What does not work correctly is...
1. Door lights do not illuminate when the doors are opened with ignition off.
2. Cargo lights do not illuminate when open with ignition off.
3. When the radio is turned on, the antenna does not come up.
3. No sound comes from the speakers. (Factory Bose/ Delco)
4. Clock time can not be set.
5. SYS code is not displayed.
6. No recent work has been done to vehicle.

It sounds to me as though I have a bad Courtesy Lamp Relay.

Can anyone verify this or point me in the right direction?

Thanks in Advance.

Hows the battery? Sounds like a battery internal short.

Disconnect the battery and reattach. Maybe the system needs to be reset? Worth a try and costs nothing

Default 95 LT1 Electrical Issue (Fixed)

The CDM was causing the problem. I took the CDM out sprayed the whole thing down with contact cleaner and scrubbed with a toothbrush, re-coated the board with Off Guard electrical coating, then put it back together.

Works like a champ.
